We recommend creating a shared folder or a online database of technology integrated lessons. In efforts to promote this, we recommend that an incentive for participation be offered or a once a year mandatory uploads. We will have to consider how we are going to organize it. We feel that this is a valid venture but have concerns about quality, monitoring, and format that need to be addressed before we move forward on this project. One idea is to have a set of standards or a check list that must be met before the lesson is uploaded.
Although the lesson database will need to be researched further; we recommend starting with a shared online database of resources for our staff at the district level.

Our goal is to have all schools with a functioning STLP.
2.)We also intend to have a FCPS Technology Showcase yearly starting in the 2011-2012 school year. We recommend that it be held prior to May first due to the testing window in 2012. As far as the name for the showcase we recommend that students be given the opportunity to devise the name and we will select the winner. This will give the students ownership and will allow them to use their creative minds. By May, 2011 we will form a sub-committee with a member from each school that will facilitate the event.
